在第二劇場版“真心對你”的時候第一次聽到這首歌，當時就被震到了。
用這種溫柔的聲音和暖暖的配樂吟唱着彷彿遺言一樣的歌詞，再加上當時在畫面上所有人都失去了“心之牆壁”，共溶成爲一個世界，這一切的搭配都讓人有一種想要沉浸在其中、即使死在當時也無所謂的感覺。
從這一點看來，庵野秀明果然是de Chardin的忠實粉絲，能夠將他那"人的終極前景"的構想在動畫和音樂中表現得如此的淋漓盡致。
